Business Development Manager – Consumer Healthcare

Reporting directly to the Customer Sales Director, this role plays a critical role in delivering the overall Customer Team’s financial and market goals. The Business Development Manager is responsible to drive the customer and brand strategy for a defined Health and/or Wellness portfolio, through effective multi-year Joint Business Planning, a high level of team-based collaboration, and perfect execution of agreed to plans.

  • Deliver Trade Sales, Net Sales, Profit, Consumption and Share growth objectives for Customer, by brand
  • Drive and align Strategic agenda with customer through effective multi-year Joint Business Planning
  • Prioritize and allocate investment budgets against key business drivers; optimize ROI-based trade spend
  • Achieve new product distribution objectives for assigned categories
  • Execute brand & Shopper-based in-store strategies with excellence (shelving, distribution, display, feature, pricing)
  • Discipline and accountability for trade sales forecast accuracy, and GAP close initiatives
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Commerce or Business Administration with 5+ years of account management experience within a Tier 1 packaged goods company
  • Well-developed strategic and critical thinking capabilities, followed by strong attention to execution detail
  • Strong financial acumen, budget management skills, and proficiency in forecasting knowledge
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent customer relationship skills
